We said our goodbye's to the Tetons group yesterday. A few stayed over and we went to lunch and celebrated a great week of photography and friendship. Now we begin the process of returning to reality. The photo below is the group picture of the workshop participants. We are all sporting do-rags on our head in celebration of one of the participants (Wes) that was not able to join us because he had open-heart surgery at the beginning of September. Wes is doing well and one of his trademarks is wearing "do-rags" so we did so in honor of him. Have to say this was a first for me.

The workshop ended, but not our desire to get one last shot of Mt. Moran and Oxbow Bend. We beat most of the crowd again to the location. It was another bitter cold morning here at 6600 feet!

After returning from our shoot we had a hardy breakfast and came back to the house for a much needed break and to begin packing for the journey home. We leave at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning for Salt Lake then on to Detroit.
Farewell to Grand Tetons. It has been a great adventure and many great memories. I'm so very grateful for the opportunity to see such beautiful places and to do that with great friends! Many thanks to Keith, Tracey and Danny. As our new theme song goes (the Partridge Family song)

One last thing. . . yesterday it was so cold that when we returned to the house the sprinklers had turned the stone walkway to the house into a sheet of ice. Needless to say, I fell. Right on top of my camera that was on my shoulder. Below are some pictures of distruction. Both Dave and Scott enjoyed checking this out. I can't get the lens cap off based on the way that it bent at the end. Good thing I've got insurance for my camera gear!
