From Lisbon to Seville

Today was a travel day from Lisbon to Seville on our new tour bus.  It is a brand new Mercedes Benz bus that holds 53 people but we only have 22 so there is plenty of room for people to spread out.  We left our hotel around 8:30 a.m. 

We stopped for lunch at Vila Gale Albacora located in the National Park of Ria Formosa approximately 4km from the centre of Tavira.  The hotel was rebuilt in 2000 from an old tuna fish camp and has a total of 162 room.

After switching timezones again as we entered into Spain (lost another hour) we are now +5 hours from home, we arrived at our hotel at 5:30 p.m. local time.  We are staying at:

It feels like it was a monestary at one time with old wooden doors and simple accomidations.  The group is going to Flamingo Dance lessons tonight we Beki and I decided to pass on.  Without our normal dance partners it just didn't seem the same.

Tomorrow we visit the Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world in the morning then we head to a Bull Farm in Cortijo La Calera to a typical Andalusian farmhouse.  A matador takes us into the fields to watch the bulls up close, and explain Spain's fascination with bullfighting.  We won't be seeing an actual bullfight. Something Beki and I agreed to long before arriving.
