Mt. Moran (Oxbow Bend)
Our day started quite early with the caravan meeting at 5:20 a.m. for a 45 minute drive to our destination Oxbow Bend. This is one of the most photographed spots in Grand Teton National Park. When we arrived, a little after 6:00 a.m. there was only one car in the parking area. By the time we left there must have been 50-75 parked along the roadside.
There were photographers everywhere. You have to have the visual of walking down a trail in the dark only to watch the sun rise and see all of these people standing around you that you never even knew were there until there was enough daylight to see them.
We came back to the house to get cleaned up before returning for our morning lecture. Today we have to submit three images for critique. Mine are below. The assignment was symmetry, simple and we can submit a "free" shot for critique.
